|The Powers in the Heavens will be Shaken
Question By yada yada
Answer by Brother Chris
Question: Is Mark 13:25 talking about global warming when it says “Powers of the atmosphere will be shaken.”
Answer: The Coming of the Son of Man
“But in those days, after that tribulation, the sun will be darkened, and the moon will not give its light, and the stars will be falling from heaven, and the powers in the heavens will be shaken. And then they will see the Son of Man coming in clouds with great power and glory. And then he will send out the angels and gather his elect from the four winds, from the ends of the earth to the ends of heaven. (Mark 13:24-27 ESV)
Great question, Is Mark 13:25 talking about global warming when it says “Powers of the atmosphere will be shaken.”
We are to watch the signs for through them we will know when the coming of the Son of Man will be, Jesus. This is why prophecy sites like this one follow current events along with presenting Bible prophecy. I believe that, yes global warming is a definite sign talked about here, but it goes beyond just our planet.
The gravitational pull of Elenin which in the Bible is named Wormwood has entered our solar system and is indeed having profound Global Warming effects on not just earth but all our orbiting planets.
· The polar icecaps of Mars are melting and receding.
· The moons of Saturn and Jupiter are melting.
· Neptune's moon has significantly heated up, melting and turning its frozen nitrogen surface into gas.
· Jupiter is developing a second giant red spot, an enormous hurricane-like storm which is thought to be the result of a sudden warming and it has lost one of its belts.
“Dr. Imke de Pater of Berkeley University says some parts of Jupiter are now as much as six degrees Celsius warmer than just a few years ago”
However these verses go much deeper than just the signs of our universe warming.
Revelation 6 tells us of the 6 seals that are to be unleashed upon the earth. Futurists believe that this marks the beginning of the seven year tribulation and will happen in quick succession. The Historic viewpoint is that we are living between Revelation 6:13 and Revelation 6:14. As I get into writing the Daniel and Revelation Apocalypse Study Commentary, I will be covering these events from both the Futurist and Historic viewpoints in great detail.
When the Lamb opened the seventh seal, there was silence in heaven for about half an hour. (Revelation 8:1 ESV)
I believe that heaven will be silent at this point for it will be empty. Jesus and the angels will be here taking the sealed of God up in the rapture to heaven.
After this I looked, and behold, a great multitude that no one could number, from every nation, from all tribes and peoples and languages, standing before the throne and before the Lamb, clothed in white robes, with palm branches in their hands, and crying out with a loud voice, “Salvation belongs to our God who sits on the throne, and to the Lamb!” (Revelation 7:9-10 ESV)
Then the kings of the earth and the great ones and the generals and the rich and the powerful, and everyone, slave and free, hid themselves in the caves and among the rocks of the mountains, calling to the mountains and rocks, “Fall on us and hide us from the face of him who is seated on the throne, and from the wrath of the Lamb, for the great day of their wrath has come, and who can stand?” (Revelation 6:15-17 ESV)
This is one prayer meeting that I believe I will not be part of.
After this I saw four angels standing at the four corners of the earth, holding back the four winds of the earth, that no wind might blow on earth or sea or against any tree. (Revelation 7:1 ESV)
At this point I believe that the seventh seal and the seven trumpets will begin, leaving the earth in total desolation for a 1000 years till we return.
Psalm 37…Thursday September 8th, 2011
Trust in the Lord and wait patiently for Him to act
We see in this psalm a vivid contrast between the
wicked and the righteous individual
Our righteousness is not of ourselves but
in accordance to our relationship with the
Lord Jesus Christ with the benefits of
His Kingdom and the presence of the
Holy Spirit being relevant and active as we
so respond therein
Do not fret
Trust in the Lord and do good
Delight yourself in the Lord
Commit your way to the Lord
Trust in Him
He will make your righteousness shine like the dawn
Be still before the Lord and wait patiently for him
Refrain from anger and turn from wrath
Do not fret
Those who hope in the Lord will inherit
The meek will inherit and enjoy great peace
The Lord upholds the righteous
The days of the blameless are known to the Lord
Their inheritance will endure
The righteous give
Those the Lord blesses will inherit
The Lord delights in a man’s way
He makes his steps firm
Though he stumble he will not fall
For the Lord upholds him with his hand
Turn from evil and do good then you will dwell
For the Lord loves the just and will not forsake his faithful ones
They will be protected
The law of God is in his heart
His feet do not slip
Wait for the Lord and keep his way
He will exalt you
Consider the blameless, observe the upright
There is a future for the man of peace
Salvation of the righteous comes from the Lord
He is their stronghold
The Lord helps and delivers
He delivers and saves because they take refuge in him
Those who follow God live differently knowing our treasures are in heaven
What you get from following God and the relationship with Christ
has eternal benefits
Take delight in the Lord committing all aspects of life to Him
To delight in someone means to experience
great pleasure and joy in their presence.
This happens only when we know them well
To delight in the Lord, we must know him better
Knowledge of God’s great love for us will indeed touch us
To commit ourselves to the Lord means entrusting everything
To His control and guidance
To commit ourselves to the Lord means to trust in Him 100%
Anger and worry (fretting) are two very destructive emotions.
Do we dwell on our problems or do we concentrate
on God and His goodness thereby experiencing
Meekness involves having a calm faith while being
humble before God and anticipating His intervention.
Jesus promised a sure reward for those with
humble attitudes Matthew 5:5
The person who delights in God is one who follows,
trusts and endeavors to do His will.
God watches over us as we so seek His advice 1st
Are we willing to be His hands extended to whosoever
To summarize Psalm 37
What or who do we trust in…delight in and are committed to?
The comfort of His presence is available but we need to
Believe in our heart and confess with our mouth and actions
that Jesus is Lord Romans 10:10
When we seek Him the peace of His presence will sustain us.
IN RETURNING AND REST
BE STILL AND KNOW
All choices to so encounter His presence
Choose this day whom ye shall serve
Salvation of the righteous is from the Lord
The Lord will help, deliver and save us as we so
TRUST IN HIM
He is my refuge and stronghold and I take refuge in Him
WAIT I SAY ON THE LORD
