Psalm 102…Friday November 11th, 2011
THERE IS A CURE FOR DISTRESS
GOD IS LIVING, ETERNAL AND UNCHANGING AND WE CAN TRUST HIM TO HELP
Hear my prayer O Lord
Let my cry for help come to you
Do not hide your face from me when I am in distress
Turn your ear to me when I call
My days vanish like smoke
Arise and have compassion
You remain the same
The children of your servants will live in your presence
Their descendants will be established before you
Psalm 102
In times of despair we can forget to eat with a lack of concern for our basic needs
In times like these God alone is our comfort and strength
Lean on Him…Rely on Him…That His strength will sustain
Psalm 102:3-4
Loneliness can cause us to be in a state of desolation although there are times we need to be alone and the solitude is a comfort but we must be aware of our need of the encouragement of others also
Psalm 102:6-7
Christ’s future reign on this earth involves restoration
Psalm 102:16-22
When feeling rejected and tossed aside with the problems and heartaches of life overwhelming us and thus feeling rejected we need to remember that God our creator is eternally with us and will keep all his promises even though we may feel alone. God will remain faithful fulfilling all He has revealed and promised
Jesus Christ, God’s Son was also present and active at the creation of the world as so declares
LO I AM WITH YOU ALWAYS
Psalm 102:25-27
IN FAITH I DECLARE TO ALWAYS KEEP IN MIND THE TRUE MEASURE OF ETERNITY.
This life which I now live is but a shadow of that which is yet to come.
My Heavenly Father endures and He has made available eternity to be activated here and now within my spirit knowing I will one day be a partaker of that which He prepares for all who so believe and thus respond
I am living in the time of God’s favor
There is no condemnation for all who so abide in Christ
Romans 8:1-2
May the Lord so establish us and thus manifest Himself through us with our prayers and our walk reflecting an intimate relationship
THROUGH CHRIST WE CAN ABIDE AND DWELL SECURE
When we are overwhelmed take time to so relate to the reality of Christ who was there in the beginning laying the foundations of the earth and the heavens; who remains faithful and who has taken on flesh to extend of divine grace if we would but believe and so respond being submissive to Jesus as both Savior and Lord
Hebrews 1:10-12
John 1:1-5
We thank you dear Father for Your love and for the Love of Christ who has made possible all that is needful in our daily walk and we also thank you for the love of others who have made our freedom possible
As YOU dear Lord have set us free so we thank you for those who have thus extended of such love on our behalf
