Time Chart, Reasons for this spring?
By Richard Ruhling |
Yeshua's answer to them was:
"It is not for you to know times or seasons..." Acts 1:7. That phrase is found only once previously, in Daniel 2:21, referring to an external kingdom, not "the kingdom of heaven is within you [poor in spirit, etc]
The disciples failed at their chance, but slept when they should have "watched" and they were not to know, but Paul used the same phrase—
"Of the times and seasons...you know perfectly...'when the day of the Lord comes suddenly as a thief with sudden destruction" 1Thess 5:1-6.
"The day of the Lord is the end-time apocalyptic period that will be initiated with an earthquake as shown in Joel 2:10,11; Zeph 1:7,10; Zech 14:1,5.
That earthquake is plainly shown in Rev 8:5 before the 7 trumpets and it is encoded as a lion's roar in Rev 6:1 before the 7 seals--"The Lord will roar... the heavens and earth shall shake," Joel 3:16. He is the Lion of Judah who "roars" when John hears thunder in Rev 6:1.
That roar brings the "sudden destruction" of 1Thess 5:2,3 as a thief which Paul implied we "know perfectly...ye are children of the light."
I would like to offer readers a chart or graph. Any readers may ask Questions.

The disciples failed to watch. When they asked if Christ would restore the kingdom to Israel, He said, “It is not for you to know the times and seasons” Acts 1:7
*Paul said, “Of the times and seasons…you know perfectly.” The day of the Lord won’t come as a thief…you are children of the light…watch, 1Thess 5:1-6.
“The Lord will do nothing but He reveals His secret to His servants, the prophets.” Amos 3:7 suggests it is all revealed if we can rightly divide what they wrote.
Three times Christ said, You don’t know the day or hour. The Greek word, eido, means be aware, consider, understand. He was saying they didn’t understand, and they were probably thinking of Passover for judgments of Matt 24 to fall as in Egypt when God executed judgment, Exod 12:12. Then Christ gave examples that fit a provision in their law for Passover a month later, “as in the days of Noah” when the Flood came with Passover timing, but in the 2nd month, Gen 7:4,11.
That example also fits, “You don’t know…for the kingdom of heaven is as a man traveling to a far country.” Please compare Matt 25:13,14 with Num 9;10,11.
Three timelines support 2012 as having high expectancy and a time to “watch.” This includes 430 years of Gregorian Calendar because Israel came out of Egypt after 430 years and God gave them a new calendar that is based on the moon, Exod 12:2,41. Our calendar begins the month with no relationship to the moon.

Luke 15…Tuesday January 24th, 2012
THAT WHICH IS LOST HAS BEEN FOUND
REJOICE
The Pharisees criticism of Jesus open association with known sinners and social outcasts reveal three parables which illustrates God’s love and His concern for sinners. His attitude is sharply opposed to that of the self righteous. The religious leaders relate to the 99 sheep the 9 coins and the elder brother. The publicans and sinners relate to the lost sheep, the lost coin and the prodigal son
Luke 15:1-3
God is concerned with one lost person and rejoices in their recovery with 2 parables thus illustrating this point.
Those who are legalistically self righteous are not even aware of their need
Luke 15:4-10
Sheep that are lost die down helplessly and refuse to budge
Luke 15:5
Jesus fellowshipped with sinners
Luke 15:2
And we see a celebration of joy revealing the joy a shepherd must share with his friends and neighbors on finding a lost sheep
Luke 15:6-7
This same joy is revealed in
Luke 15:10
over the repentance of one individual
The fact that a penitent sinner pleases God more than a ceremonially correct self righteous or religious person is quite evident in this parable
Luke 15:11-32
At a father’s death, Jewish Law allotted one third of the estate to the younger son and two thirds to the elder
Deut. 21:17
The younger son’s request betrayed his rebellious nature in wanting to live independently of his father’s will. A Jewish father could abdicate his wealth prior to his death also
Luke 15:12
From his state of immorality
Luke 15:15
The younger son falls into apostasy. He then joins himself to a Gentile farmer who raises pigs which were regarded as unclean
Note tho that the father is present in the son’s memory even in this far away country
Luke 15:17
REPENTANCE is SORROW for SIN
CONFESSING THAT THE OFFENSE HAS BEEN COMMITTED AGAINST GOD WITH A CHANGE OF HEART THAT MANIFESTS ITSELF IN A CHANGE OF ACTION
Luke 15:18-19
Compare what the son actually says to his father with his prepared confession
Luke 15:18-19
He does not even have a chance to finish his confession before his father calls for a celebration of joy
Luke 15:21
The father’s reception shows that genuine repentance brings not only pardon but complete restoration
Luke 15:22-24
The loveless attitude of the elder brother portrays the religious leaders claim to self righteousness, their own achievements and their uncaring attitude toward repentant sinners. Just as the elder brother had no true relationship with his father, so the religious leaders have no real relationship with God either
Luke 15:25-30
HOW IS OUR RELATIONSHIP IN LIGHT OF THIS PARABLE
The HOPE of RESTORATION of the Father extends not only to the younger son but to the elder son as well
Luke 15:28
The joyless attitude of the older brother who represents Jesus critics is portrayed by the older brother who cannot refer to his younger brother as my brother but refers to him as thy son
Luke 15:30
GOD WILL EXTEND HIS MERCY TO WHOMEVER HE WILL DESPITE THE OBJECTIONS OF THOSE WHO VIEW SALVATION IN ANOTHER LIGHT
Luke 15:31-32
Many blend into the world and avoid the cost of standing in agreement with Christ.
WHAT ULTIMATELY IS OUR INFLUENCE IN LIFE?
GOD IS STILL SEEKING THOSE WHO ARE WITHOUT HOPE
OUR HEAVENLY FATHER IS WATCHFUL ANTICIPATING OUR RETURN HOME with HIS LOVE REACHING OUT AS WE TURN TO DRAW NIGH TO EXPERIENCE OF HIS LOVE AND CARE
The Father’s wholehearted acceptance of His youngest son also involved restoration as well for he was filled with love for His son in fact for both His sons
BE WILLING TO FORGIVE RELEASING ANY WOUNDS AND SO EXPERIENCE THE JOY THEREOF.
We all have been lost at one point but O the Joy of being restored and safe in the loving arms of our Heavenly Father
COME EXPERIENCE HIS LOVE TODAY and BE RENEWED
WITH HIS LOVE and MERCY
