We have been hearing for weeks now on how Iran is threatening to block shipments of crude oil from the Persian Gulf by closing the strategic Strait of Homuz through which one fifth of the world’s oil supply passes.

American and European officials have been trying to get Iran to abandon their nuclear program which would give them the ability to generate electricity without dipping into their oil supply which it prefers to sell abroad.

“A United Nations report released in November 2011 challenged that claim. The International Atomic Energy Agency released a trove of evidence that they said makes a “credible” case that “Iran has carried out activities relevant to the development of a nuclear device” and that the project may still be under way. The report said the I.A.E.A. had amassed “over a thousand pages” of documents, presumably leaked out of Iran, showing “research, development and testing activities” on a range of technologies that would only be useful in designing a nuclear weapon.” (1)

Personally I wonder if the ones whom wrote this report for the United Nations are the same ones who wrote the report on Saddam Hussein. The now executed dictator who literally was rebuilding the city of Babylon and had all those weapons of mass destruction that no-one could ever find?

We now know the real reason for the war on Iraq and it had nothing to do with 9/11. Saddam was going to sell its oil for the euro and was no longer going to accept American dollars, also known as petrodollars. The question then is; just how far is the United States willing to go, and how many more trillions will it take in protecting the petrodollar? For if the dollar is no longer the reserve dollar of the world, backed up by world oil sales, what will then back it up, what will give it any value in today’s global market? Will the mark of the beast then replace it?

Comparable to the Iraq war in all determinable ways is the threatening military operations against Iran. It all comes down to the macro-economics of the petrodollar and the real challenge it puts forth on the U.S. dollar supremacy over the euro or any other currency as an alternative legal tender for oil.

Headlines around the world for the last couple of days are reporting, (good luck finding it in an American newspaper)

India to pay gold instead of dollars for Iranian oil.

“India is the first buyer of Iranian oil to agree to pay for its purchases in gold instead of the US dollar, debkafile's intelligence and Iranian sources report exclusively. Those sources expect China to follow suit. India and China take about one million barrels per day or 40 percent of Iran's total exports of 2.5 million bpd. Both are superpowers in terms of gold assets.

By trading in gold, New Delhi and Beijing enable Tehran to bypass the upcoming freeze on its central bank's assets and the oil embargo which the European Union's foreign ministers agreed to impose Monday, Jan. 23.” (2)

Where Saddam Hussein failed, it is starting to look as if the Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmedinajad  may just win. We know that the States cannot just let this happen or the Dollar value plummets to levels that would bring the mighty world leader to its knees which would result in making the great depression look like a walk in the park.

With both China and Russia already exchanging goods between them in their own currencies, will they take kindly to the States starting another full out war to protect something that the rest of the world now sees as a bad risk? The world fell for the story of weapons of mass destruction and turned a blind eye. This time they know what’s truly at stake, America.

Tehran has also set up alternative financial mechanisms with China and Russia for getting paid for its oil in currencies other than US dollars. Both Beijing and Moscow are keeping the workings of those mechanisms top secret. (2)

Could we be in WW III by the end of the year over the petrodollar? This time will you be safe on American soil?

In the book of Revelation, the last 7 years are divided into 1260 days of tribulation where God will give His people the power of Moses and Elijah as seen in Rev 11:1-7 plus forty two months of abomination by the antichrist. Some interpret these times to be within each other, one time frame and not two for a total of forty two months instead of seven years. I personally hold to the full seven year time frame.  

We also see in Rev 11:7, the beast whom many interpret to be the leader of Iran, ascending to make war upon the saints. I’m still undecided but current events are starting to look that way.        

And the beast was given a mouth uttering haughty and blasphemous words, and it was allowed to exercise authority for forty-two months. (Revelation 13:5 ESV)

Could this be the beginning of the scenario that brings us into the NWO and the mark?

I do expect huge events to happen this year, but it’s only the beginning for the seven seals won't all happen at once...
