EVIDENCE OF JESUS AUTHORITY
My house will be a house of prayer but you have made it a den of robbers

Jesus had divine wisdom exposing people’s motives and their true intents thereby avoiding their traps
Parable of the Vineyard Owner
Luke 20:9-18
The owner of the vineyard is God
The vineyard is Israel
The tenants are the religious leaders
The servants are the prophets and priests God sent to Israel
The Son is the Messiah
And the others are the Gentiles
THIS PARABLE REVEALS HIS AUTHORITY and HAD INSIGHT TO THEIR PLANS TO KILL HIM
Jesus showed the unbelieving leaders that even their rejection had been prophesied
Psalm 118:22
Luke 20:17-19
The word broken in Luke 20:18 reveals negative aspects
One does not want something valuable to be broken.
In God’s dictionary brokenness is not only good but essential as well. God uses only people whose hearts, volition and pride have been broken.
GOD OFFERS A CHOICE OF BROKENNESS
Those who cast themselves on Jesus, submitting their wills and all that they are to him, will be broken by him of arrogance, hard heartedness and self centeredness.
Theprocess is not pleasant but absolutely necessary
Jesus turns his enemies attempt to trap him into a powerful lesson.
AS GOD’S FOLLOWERS WE HAVE A LEGITIMATE OBLIGATION TO BOTH GOD AND THE GOVERNMENT but IT IS IMPORTANT TO KEEP OUR PRIORITIES STRAIGHT.
OUR DUTY IS TO GOD and MUST ALWAYS BE OUR INITIAL PRIORITY

The Sadducees decided to try their hand at tricking Jesus so they brought him a question that they had possibly used to stump the Pharisees
Jesus responded to their enquiry about the resurrection basing his answer on the writings of Moses an authority they respected upholding belief in the resurrection

Our relationships in this life are limited by time, death and sin.

WE MUIST FIRST DECIDE TO BELIEVE THAT JESUS IS WHO HE SAID HE IS
Luke 20:41-44
MAY WE ULTIMATELY USE OUR ABILITIES TO HELP OTHERS WITH THE LOVE THAT CHRIST SO MANIFESTS TO US
Take time to encounter and so absorb of Christ’s authority that is extended to all who will so believe and thus respond
It is personal and an ongoing reality

Psalm 29 ...EVIDENCE OF GOD’S POWER
TRUST THEREBY IMPARTS DIVINE PEACE and DIVINE STRENGTH
God reveals his great power in nature.
We can trust God to give us both the peace and the strength
to weather the storms of life
verse 11 The Lord will give strength to His people,
The Lord will bless His people with peace
The Lord gives an abundance of strength and power for daily living
and He blesses us with His peace and the security of His presence
The voice of the Lord desires to impart the reality that all things are under
His control. The power that raised Christ from the dead is available to us all
to help us with our daily problems. He can give you the strength and the
power that controls creation and raised the dead is likewise available but
alas like the disciples does Jesus ask us O ye of little faith, Why do you doubt?
Verse 4 The voice of the Lord is powerful
Acts 1:8 You shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you;
and you shall be witnesses to me, In Jerusalem, in Judea,
Samaria and to the end of the earth.
The Power of the Holy Spirit and His indwelling Spirit releases
divine power (miraculous ability) that we can be a living witness
demonstrating God's presence withersoever we go
Romans 14:17 The Kingdom of God is righteousness (that state which
makes a person acceptable to God and a work in our heart), and
peace and joy in the Holy Spirit
The Kingdom of God involves living our life in righteousness, peace and joy
as we so abide in Christ with His Spirit working in us affecting all aspects of life
Psalm 68:35 O God, You are more awesome than Your holy places.
The God of Israel is He who gives strength and power to His people.
Blessed be God
My great and awesome Father God is dwelling within me at this very moment.
He gives me strength and power to do His will and to live the life
He has called me to. Praise His Holy name
Isaiah 40:29 He giveth power to the faint and to them that have no might
he increaseth strength
The Lord is my strength and my life. He is faithful to me and increases my
power and ability so that I can be confident in every situation.
JESUS REVEALED THAT HIS SHEEP HEAR HIS VOICE AND FOLLOW HIM
We have removed the Lord's prayer from our schools and many other aspects of life
Is it not time to re connect with the Lord Jesus Christ to so appropriate the benefits
of His love and care which He has promised and made possible through
our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ
In Revelations chapters 2&3 we see the revelation that
he who has a hearing ear and overcomes shall inherit
With the storms of nature that is sweeping both America and the World in general
Is the Lord trying to awaken us once again to the reality of whom He is and our need
of him that the storms in our own life would so experience His peace and the
assurance of His presence that will affect all our tomorrows
THE VOICE OF THE LORD IS POWERFUL and JESUS is the WAY to so
encounter and experience the reality God has intended and the Word of God unfolds
divine TRUTH whereby thro the creative inner work of the Holy Spirit we can so
ENCOUNTER and EXPERIENCE LIFE as originally intended
CHOOSE THIS DAY WHOM YE SHALL SERVE!!
