APATHY part 2

Last week I covered what seems to be the biggest problem amongst the majority of Christians today, APATHY. I prayed that this message would hit home, unfortunately, most felt that either I was wrong or it did not imply to them. However, as I look at the lack of comments on the many articles posted by active members, and hear the many excuses that everyone uses, lack of time, I do not know enough to write or comment, I do not want others at church to find out how I really think, etc, etc, etc.  These and the many, many other excuses can all be narrowed down to just one word, APATHY.

I have heard from many customers at work, where are the different perspectives you talk about? How do certain news articles relate to Prophecy? On average I have 800 people checking out Prophecy Times each week. A slow week is now about 600 views and when we had only three members who took the time to actively discuss topics, there were close to 2000 hits those weeks. Imagine what we could do if we got just ten of us actively discussing different topics. With a hundred of us actively participating in discussions, we could quickly be ranked in the top ten prophecy sites on the internet. We have 1137 members who have signed up and are capable of writing articles, commenting or asking questions. Where are you?

I have heard from certain individuals that Prophecy Times does not portray their perspective of biblical study. I do not know how else to get the message out that this site is for examining all the different avenues of Prophecy and Scriptural truths. This web-site was never set up to indoctrinate everyone into one belief system, but to learn different views through other member’s research. This does not mean that because they differ in areas from your view that you cannot learn anything from them, no. As with anyone’s study you must always take it back to God’s Word for conformation. But when we combine the in-depth research from those who bring in History, Science, and Current Events, bringing them all together with our own Bible Study we can all learn something new and revealing.

Trekson and I have agreed to disagree on our interpretation of Law and Grace. Does that mean that I reject everything he now writes? Of course not! He has written many great articles in the Apocalypse Study Commentary that opened my eyes to further study. He has just put in the Commentary Spiritual Warfare forum,  his book on Spiritual Warfare, which must have taken him many months to research and write. It is a must read for these last days as Lucifer pulls out all the stops and tries everything to deceive Christians. It is a must read for all. How many of us have studied this topic and can add to it for further enlightenment for those whom desperately need its message. How hard is it to say Thank-You for your study, I really needed this? How many are facing a situation right now and need to ask a question from someone who has studied this topic in-depth? Not all comments need to be great theological studies; a Thank-You goes a long way so the author knows their efforts are appreciated. How many of you have done a favour for a friend and when you did not even get a Thank-You, felt like you were used and refused to help them again? Our writers are the same and this is why we have lost many great writers, they were never told their efforts were appreciated.  

In the original vision that I received for this web-site, I knew it would be hard. That it must not be like other sites that declare if you want to know the truth, we will tell you. With so many now starting to understand through things like the Mayan 2012 prophecies, news and other avenues that life as we know it is about to end, they are for the first time looking into Biblical Prophecy. If one denomination held all the truth, all the others would have slowly disappeared. I believe that each denomination holds their piece of the Prophetic puzzle. When we combine all our efforts and studies, we come up with a more complete picture of events just about to unfold.  

How many can honestly say that they can hear the Holy Spirit speaking to them, not as many as should. We are not out to change your mind but to open it up. When things start happening, if events unfold differently than you have been taught, will you be able to withstand the many coming deceptions upon the church? This is why I feel that it is so important to come out of our individual boxes in an open forum setting such as Prophecy Times. Things you or I may disagree with now, just may be the very things that the Holy Spirit will bring back to our memory when we most need it.

I have covered in-depth what it means for a church to incorporate and the coming One World Religion that I believe will be Chrislam. The day is quickly coming when true Christians will again have to meet privately in homes as the first Christians did. We are already seeing the first stages of religious censorship on the internet, it is only a matter of time before this and other sites that declare the truth will be taken down. Now is the time to learn while you can still get the information.

I have had many ministers tell me that they do not understand Prophecy, the very same ministers that so many rely upon for all their spiritual needs. Now is the time to do your own research for when we stand before God, our trusted Minister will not be standing up for us, but Christ will be by our side as our High Priest.

I know that most will never write a word, they surf the net searching. I pray that when they come to Prophecy Times that they will read the right articles that God can use when the correct time comes. My prayer is to get 100 members who will help out in this urgent message with articles, comments and questions. I desperately need 10 members now to kick start things for all those who are diligently searching for answers.

As we watch church buildings empty and close all across North America, the Last Day’s message has never been more urgent. Please pray about it, but by putting it off means that many will fall for deceptions that otherwise could have been avoided.
